Pittsburgh Steelers Tickets - A Little Bit of History

Founded in 1933, this six time NFL title holder ranks fourth among all NFL franchises.The Steelers are the present day champs since winning the Super Bowl XL111 on February 1st, 2009. Formerly known as the Pittsburgh Pirates until they renamed themselves the Steelers just before the 1940's season. It wasn't until 1969 when Coach Chuck Noll joined the team did the Steeler's find themselves making NFL history by winning four Super Bowls in six years.

Now years later, the players and coaching may have changed a little with the old timers retiring their uniforms, but the heart of them team remains as is evident with the last years title win.
